One of eyebuddy’s top aims is to provide accurate information on our website and our systems are updated twice a day with our own stock status. eyebuddy sells complete brand ranges and makes available over 40,000 products on it’s website. However, we hold about 17,000 unique products (21,000 in total) actually in-stock. Whilst this is a great number and we believe this gives us perhaps the greatest availability of the products we sell online, we sometimes have to order frames, lenses and other products directly from supplier to get the exact product you want. Although suppliers are usually quite fast to get frames to us, most top designer glasses, sunglasses tend to come directly from their main country of EU operation, which is often Italy, France or Germany. eyebuddy therefore provides information by each product with the typical number of days before it is likely to be dispatched. This is displayed and described as follows.

Frames and sunglasses
This means that we have the frame available. However, we often have to transfer frames from another location so it can take 1-2 days to reach us depending at what time the order is placed.

Glasses with lenses
If prescription lenses are ordered, these are made up to your prescription and many lenses can take over a week to reach us (as we sell most brands). We usually glaze glasses and dispatch within a day once both frame and lenses are with us. Note, some lenses can take longer.

Contact lenses
Contact lenses are ordered from suppliers to prescriptions and usually are with us within 1-4 days. We dispatch these the same day we receive them.

Other products
Most are held in stock but occasionally some items (certain solutions, vitamins or cases have to be ordered from suppliers.

Glasses and sunglasses
All frames on eyebuddy with this status are not currently within eyebuddy’s stock but the supplier tells us we can get them from them. In this case, they are ordered (typically within 4 hours) from the supplier.
Most suppliers quote 4-10 days for delivery as they often come from Italy, France or Germany. Occasionally, we find some products take longer particularly if a frame is on backorder (awaiting new production) and sometimes they are discontinued (if the supplier has not updated their systems).
Unfortunately, we are unable to find this out until we actually place our order with the supplier (as their systems told us they had stock). Whatever the circumstance, we will update you as soon as we can and of course, the order can be changed (perhaps another colour is available?) or cancelled for a refund. |

Please note, typical days until dispatch are estimated. All orders should be completed within 28 days unless there is an issue with the supply.
Order status notification
After an order has been placed, we will identify its location and get it transferred to us as soon as we can. We will usually send you an email to confirm the expected number of days and keep you updated of any changes to this date. On occasions, this may differ to what we originally expected if the information from the supplier was not accurate (as described above). We are sorry for the very small number of occasions there is a delay. Please let us know if you wish to cancel or change any order as soon as possible. Contact lens orders often cannot be changed once the order has been placed with the supplier. Customised opthalmic lenses cannot be refunded once ordered unless the frame cannot be sourced.
If we do not hear from you regarding validating your contact lens prescription, a change of expected delivery date or alternative product, we aim to cancel and refund your order within 7 working days.
Order dispatch
We will notify you once your order has been dispatched. Please note, that although we send many items by next day delivery, this service is described as ‘Premium delivery’ as they are next day from the date they are ready to be dispatched rather than the order date.
