Reglaze
Many people wonder if we can put new lenses in their existing frames. Unlike many opticians Eyebuddy is happy to do this. In fact there are some benefits to doing this as we can ensure the exact same optical centres as the old glasses including extra measurements required for varifocals and bifocals.
Please note you should send you r frames to us by traceable means (registered insured post that is signed for) as Eyebuddy cannot be held responsible for items lost in the post. There is a small charge on top of the normal lens costs depending on frame type. Please also note that spectacle frames age and it is possible they may break under the strain of removing the old lenses – reglazes are therefore at your own risk.
Before reglazing an old frame you should ask yourself whether you have a decent spare pair and whether or not you should really be keeping your existing glasses as back up and treating yourself to a new pair from Eyebuddy! |
